June 7, 2011 Board Meeting Agenda Item #59 Title APPROVAL OF NEW JOB DESCRIPTION FOR PROGRAM DIRECTOR Description The new job description for Program Director is presented to the Board for approval.  The purpose of the Program Director is to support specific District programs.  The program directly serves students and requires a person to directly supervise employees in a dedicated facility.  The program serves smaller student populations, usually less than 250 students, which have specific needs.  The program director is an administrative position that is very similar in scope to a principal's job.
